Girlfriend to Superman Henry Cavill and fan-favorite choice to play Wonder Woman, Gina Carano is asked about playing the iconic character as well as her thoughts on Gal Gadot.

Gina Carano tells the Toronto Sun that she was never approached for the role of Wonder Woman and supports her fellow Fast and Furious co-star.

"I was never approached, and I don’t know if I was considered," Carano said.

"She’s amazing,” Carano offered about Gal Gadot. “Such a great person with such a solidness in her character, so I’m very excited for her to do that. I think people have an idea what they consider Wonder Woman. I definitely know (Gadot) has been training and there’s so much more that goes into being a strong female character."

The untitled "Batman Vs Superman" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jeremy Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film.
