George Lucas on Star Wars 3-D and TV Show

Body

picHow does everybody feel about the upcoming Star Wars 3-D?

Another cash cow for George Lucas?

Why couldn't they just make episodes 1-3 -- good?!

Why couldn't wee see the death of Jar Jar Binks?! Why was there a Jar Jar Binks?!

Star Wars creator George Lucas and Disney Imagineer Tom Fitzgerald spoke to G4's "Attack of the Show" on the process of converting to 3-D and mention of the Star Wars TV show.

From the sound of it, Star Wars 3-D will be less the "poking in your face" (as Lucas describes it) -- and maybe more akin to the Nintendo 3ds(?), if you are familiar with that; meaning from "behind."

Also, doesn't look like there is much hope (where's Obi-Wan when ya need him!) for the TV show, at least in the near future.

Star Wars 3-D will have a theatrical release beginning next year.
