Gary Oldman played James Gordon for Christopher Nolan in The Dark Knight Trilogy and recently commented on the upcoming Batman Vs Supeman movie while promoting Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.

It seems that while Oldman isn't too worried about Batman, he does sound a little skeptical regarding the Man of Steel.

Via Yahoo:

"They want to keep it going. Of course they do. But, it’s Superman yeah? Batman and Superman together? We shall see.”

“The thing about Nolan, there was some grounding of reality to it. In our trilogy, and as fantastical and as big as the joker was, it was based [on reality]… we could relate to it.”

“But now we’ve got a Batman and we’ve got a guy who can fly who’s an alien?! We’ll have to see…”

“It’s got big shoes to fill”.

It's currently unknown whether or not Gordon will be featured in Batman Vs. Superman.

Fox is also rebooting James Gordon in the new upcoming Batman-inspired Gotham series.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. Justice League is to follow directed by Zack Snyder as well.
