Gary Oldman Confirms Talks For Star Wars (Video)

Gary Oldman has confirmed that he has had discussions with Disney Lucasfilm about appearing in new Star Wars films.

Oldman was tight lipped, but did confirm Lucasfilm has called about Star Wars.

"They've called," Oldman replied when asked about doing Star Wars next following RoboCop. "I'm more cynical about it now. I'll believe it when I'm on the plane home. The deal isn't done. But, yeah, they've inquired."

"Planet of the Apes, Harry Potter, Batman and Star Wars. Bloody hell," Oldman said.

Oldman didn't state if he is up for a role in Star Wars: Episode VII or one of the spinoffs.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release.
