Gal Gadot Wonder Woman Movie Announced & In Talks For Ben Hur
In addition to appearing in Batman Vs. Superman and the Justice League movie (and probably Justice League 2), Warner Bros. announced earlier today a Wonder Woman movie starring Gal Gadot is slated for a 2017 release.
It's also become known that Gal Gadot is up for the lead female role in the Ben Hur remake, opposite Jack Huston, as Esther, a slave with whom Ben-Hur is in love (via THR). Morgan Freeman is also attached to the film.
Gal Gadot has already filmed a few scenes for Batman Vs. Superman in her normal guise of Diana. Zack Snyder also previously stated that Gal Gadot is hard in training and will be back for Wonder Woman scenes at the end of the year.
Most recently, Batman Vs. Superman producer Charles Roven let it be known that Wonder Woman would have Zeus as her father, which would make the character a demi-god in the DC movie universe.
Gadot seemed to know her day was going to turn out pretty good as she posted the following on her Facebook:
Let's have a great Wednesday! xoxo
