COSMIC BOOK NEWS
PICK OF THE WEEK

Here is Ben's tweet:

Getting stoked chatting with @fredvanlente about a new @Marvel project we'll announce this week. Be sure to get Chaos War #5!

And Here is Fred's:

FVL this Wed: Chaos War #5 (of 5) ... and a BIG announcement!

We know from Fred Van Lente's previous tweets that it seems as if a Hercules, or "Incredible Hercules" book is out of the question.

We know that fellow writer Greg Pak gets the Surfer which begins in February.

I would say it has to be a mini - most likely starring the Lion of Olympus - and whoever lives after Chaos War concludes. Most likely it will be the surviving cast from the Dead Avengers, Dead X-Men and Alpha Flight. For those out of the loop, the Chaos King attacked all of reality - including Death's - which "freed" some long lost heroes. They starred in various tie-ins to the main Chaos War mini.

Amadeus Cho heads over to Incredible Hulks with #626 or 627. Of course, that doesn't mean he could be in Fred's new book as well.

Note: The April Previews Catalog (on-sale next week) lists a "Herc #1" that will be on-sale April 6th for $3.99 followed by #2 April 20th for #2.99. This was absent from the Marvel 2011 April Solicits. Marvel released their Throne of Blood: Birth Of A Vampire - Fear Itself Tie-In in similar fashion which was listed as "Vampires #1" in Previews. The "Herc" book could tie into "Fear Itself" as well.

Look for more news to hit later today - or on Wednesday.
