A few hours ago saw a rumor hit that Fox Studios had dumped Josh Trank as well as the Simon Kinberg script for the Fantastic Four reboot.

The same report also suggested that Fox Studios wasn't happy with the casting.

Now according to various other websites, Fox Studios has officially denied the rumors.

The initial source of the rumor has now updated their article stating that Fox Studios has been approaching other people to direct Fantastic Four, and that they are standing by their source.

If the rumors are true, it's more than likely news of a new director and what is exactly going on should be forthcoming soon enough as Fantastic Four is do do film in New Orleans, according to reports, as early as this month.

As it stands, Fantastic Four has a June 19, 2015 release with Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan and Jamie Bell set to star.
