It's learned that Wally West will debut in the New 52 DC Comics in April's The Flash Annual #3.

Robert Venditti and Van Jensen will be the new series writers with art by Brett Booth as they begin their run starting in The Flash #30, out April 23rd.

The Flash Annual #3 follows a week later featuring the first appearance of the New 52 Wally West.

Among their coverage on The Flash, USA Today reports on Grant Gustin in Arrow and the new Flash TV series, as well as the upcoming Justice League: War animated movie.

They conclude their article by talking with Jeff Bock, the senior box office analyst for Exhibitor Relations, who brings up an interesting point in that both Fox Studios and Marvel Studios will be debuting their own "Flash" with Quicksilver in The Avengers 2 and X-Men: Days Of Future Past (long story short: Fox and Marvel both own Quicksilver, but will be using different actors and the stories are not related).

Bock goes on to mention that we could be seeing The Flash, who has been previously speculated for Batman Vs. Superman, sooner rather than later.

"To tell you the truth, DC needs the Flash to break out, as he's a major component of the Justice League and has always been one of the stars in their canon," Bock said. "Time is of the essence here, DC, Godspeed."
