First Transformers 4 Footage Debuts; New Villains; Hasbro Exec Offers Details
Transformers 4 saw its first footage debut at Hasbro’s Investors Day where an executive offered a couple details as well as a description.
Sadly, none of the footage has made it's way online, but at least you can check out what Hasbro's Eric Nyman offered (via TFW2005):
In 2014 our great entertainment story continues. We deliver a full new Transformers story with the release of Transformers 4…. 65 Million Years In The Making. You saw some of the footage this morning. Our great Autobot Heroes team up with... (he didn’t tell who) and defeat new villains and save the earth.
We see "65 million years in the making" is obviously a reference to the new title, "Age of Extinction," as well as the Dinobots, which a Transformers 4 producer recently confirmed.
Possibly more interesting is mention that Transformers 4 will see new villains as many online are speculating the movie will feature Unicron and Galvatron. A related Decepticon with Cyclonus was recently confirmed through a leaked call sheet, so it definitely can't be ruled out.
Below you can also check out a cool recap video of the vehicles and set images from Transformers 4 that someone put together on YouTube.
Transformers 4 has a Summer 2014 release directed by Michael Bay and starring Mark Wahlberg, Jack Reynor, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles, Li Bingbing, T.J. Miller and Kelsey Grammar.
