First Look At Jakku in Star Wars Battlefront
Star Wars Battlefront: Fighter Squadron Mode Gameplay Trailer
The concept art features a Star Destroyer that crash landed with the Imperial troops evacuating and engaging the Rebel troops, both of which are described as strangers to the desert planet.
The second piece of concept art features a downed X-Wing with the Stormtroopers engaged in a firefight with the Rebels.
“There’s a David and Goliath theme to this,” DICE Concept Artist Anton Grandert told EA.com. “The epic, huge super structures of the Star Destroyers contrast against the tiny but brave Rebel soldiers fighting the Imperial forces.
"We wanted to portray a battle completely surrounding you, in every direction. Debris is falling from the sky, telling the story of battles above," Gradert continued. "On the surface of the planet you can see ground troops as well as X-wings, all taking part of the fight."
