Fanboys Go Crazy Again: Issue Violent Threats Over Batwoman

Maybe it's just a Warner Bros. thing?

The announcement of Ben Affleck as Batman set the internet on fire, so much so that fans went absolutely haywire on various social networks.

Things went a little too far as death threats were stated to be involved and such.

Now there is a similar response in regards to the DC Comics Batwoman comic book, and the fact that J.H. Williams III left the book due to editorial differences.

While Williams stated numerous times that they were never told Batwoman couldn't get married because of gay marriage, certain (irresponsible?) web sites ran with the headline because it was too juicy to pass up.

Now J.H. Williams has taken to his Twitter stating he's heard about violent threats and also says this needs to stop right now.

My advice to the nutty fanboys would be to get these guys where it really hurts - their pocket books. Nothing affects a corporation more than the almighty dollar; plain and simple if you don't like it don't buy it. It would also help your cause to start Facebook pages and Twitter pages as the corporations hate the bad PR. Obviously keep it clean!
