Exclusive: Lynyrd Skynyrd Drummer Artimus Pyle Joins Call Of Duty Undead
Cosmic Book News has learned that Artimus Pyle, former drummer for the band Lynyrd Skynyrd, has joined the cast of Call of Duty Undead.
Pyle, a Marine Corps veteran and surviving member of the 1977 airplane crash that killed three band mates, will play Mr. Hoover, veteran father to Alpha Squad member Scott Hoover (Mike Sarcinelli).
Call of Duty Undead director Aleksandar Ivicic is currently on location in Asheville, North Carolina to film Pyle's scenes.
"I am incredibly honored to have Artimus Pyle as part of the Call of Duty Undead cast," Ivicic exclusively told Cosmic Book News. "He is an amazing musician that we have been a fan of for years, and he has an extraordinary personal story to tell that will be reflected through his character. We know that audiences will be excited as we are to see Artimus Pyle in the film."
Call of Duty Undead also stars U.S. Marine Veterans Robert Woodley and Chris Clark as Roy Weiss and Doctor Nicholas Bergman, respectively. Kevin Tanski plays Keith Watzel, a member of the Alpha Squad, as well.
The Alpha Squad are brought together to investigate the mysterious disappearances of high-profile individuals, which leads them into an all-out war for survival against a wave of undead experiments.
Call of Duty Undead also stars Will Mutka, Kahley Cuff, Patrick Mallette, Gary Sundown, Mike Giambelluca, Nia Bates, Makenzy Glover, with Rick Primerano as Steel.
