It's on!

With Warner Bros. moving the release date for Batman Vs. Superman to May 6, 2016 - the same date rumored for Captain America 3 - it's created an epic showdown only seen in the pages of the comic books.

Now the stars are weighing in as Access Hollywood caught up with Chris Evans, Samuel L. Jackson, Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie at the Red Carpet premiere for Captain America 2.

While Evans is less vocal, calling it a "shame" that the two movies may share the same release date, his co-stars offer a bit more.

Both Sebastian Stan and Samuel L. Jackson state DC has some catching up to do.

“All you really have to do to know the answer to that question is just look at the track record of Marvel vs. DC… ‘Green Lantern,’” he said. "I’m biased.  don’t know. I’m on this side."

Likewise, Jackson offered: "You know, the bar’s going higher and higher and hopefully these guys can get up there on that bar. DC’s having some issues. DC’s having a little trouble with Marvel."

Anthony Mackie's not too worried as he has some previous experience with Affleck.

"Done. I've been up against Ben Affleck before. I won. Yeah. Hell, yeah," he said.

Captain America: The Winter Soldier has an April 4th release.
