It's been announced that Paul Feig will direct a Ghostbusters reboot featuring a female team of ghostbusters.

Some people aren't happy, such as original ghostbuster, Ernie Hudson.

"I heard it was going to be a total reboot, and that it would have nothing to do with the other two movies," he said, reports The Telegraph. "If it has nothing to do with the other two movies, and it’s all female, then why are you calling it Ghostbusters? I love females. I hope that if they go that way at least they’ll be funny, and if they’re not funny at least hopefully it’ll be sexy. I love the idea of including women, I think that’s great. But all-female I think would be a bad idea. I don’t think the fans want to see that.”

Now Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn has commented on the female team as well, but takes a slightly different view.

"I can understand how people can be upset about a Ghostbusters reboot - people are always upset about reboots. But to be upset because the Ghostbusters are women?! HOW DOES HAVING A PENIS HELP YOU CATCH GHOSTS? If anything, it could be a hindrance, because you could snag it on something," Gunn posted on his Facebook.

The cast of the new Ghostbusters hasn't been announced as of yet, but it Feig did say he would make room for the originals, but in brand new roles.
