Dwayne Johnson Confirms He Is Playing Black Adam In Shazam Movie

Body

After teasing a role in a WB movie since the start of the year and also teasing a role in Shazam, Dwayne Johnson has now confirmed he will be playing Black Adam.

Dwayne Johnson took to his Twitter account to reveal the news:

In confirming Black Adam, Johnson also confirms a Shazam movie.

Update: Variety is stating Darren Lemke (Goosebumps, Turbo, Jack the Giant Slayer, Shrek Forever After, Lost,) is being brought on to write the Shazam script.

Update #2: DCComics.com confirmed Johnson as Black Adam adding the script is currently in development and production is yet to begin.
