Fox has added one more to the cast of the new Gotham TV series with Drew Powell.

Deadline has it that Drew Powell will be a recurring character in the series playing the villain role of Butch Gilzean, which is described as a deceptively clever and ambitious second-in-command to sadistic gangster boss Fish Mooney (played by Jada Pinkett Smith).

In addition to Powell and Smith, Gotham will see Ben McKenzie as a young Detective Gordon; Donald Logue as his partner Harvey Bullock; Robin Lord Taylor as Oswald Cobblepot (Penguin), with Sean Pertwee as Alfred.

The Gotham TV series has been said to be in the vein of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies that will focus on the early days of Jim Gordon as well as featuring a young Bruce Wayne and original Batman villains.

No premiere date has been announced as of yet.
