It has become known that a BBC director will be involved in some capacity with the Marvel Daredevil Netflix series.

Farren Blackburn, known for directing episodes of Doctor Who and Luther, has confirmed on his Twitter that he will be working on Daredevil.

SciFi Now notes the tweet has since been deleted.

More than likely Blackburn will be directing an episode or two of Daredevil.

Farren Blackburn directed the Doctor Who episodes "The Rings of Akhaten" and "The Doctor, the Widow and the Wardrobe."

Daredevil looks to film this Summer in NYC for a 13-episode 2015 release.

Charlie Cox has been cast as Matt Murdock, aka Daredevil; Vincent D’Onofrio will play Wilson Fisk (aka Kingpin), and Rosario Dawson has been cast in an unknown role.

Synopsis:

“Marvel’s Daredevil” follows the journey of Matt Murdock, who was blinded as a young boy but imbued with extraordinary senses, now fighting against injustice by day as a lawyer, and by night as the super hero Daredevil in modern day Hell's Kitchen, New York City.
