DnA Get Set Visit With Guardians of the Galaxy Director James Gunn (Image)

Body

My faith in James Gunn just went up a few notches as the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy movie posted the following image of himself with Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning.

Abnett and Lanning, known as DnA to fans, penned the 2008 Guardians of the Galaxy comic book series for Marvel.

The recent Comic-Con held this past Summer that saw the announcement of the movie and accompanying concept art (below) seems to suggest the movie will be in part based on their stories.

Gunn included the following with the photo on his FB:

With the genius reimaginers of the Guardians of the Galaxy who I am currently reimagining - Andy Lanning & Dan Abnett! We showed them around the production office today to show them some of the amazing stuff they inspired! We wouldn't be making this movie without them! AND they're super nice guys to boot!
