DC Comics Hourman In Development At The CW

Joining Arrow and The Flash will be Hourman as a new series for the DC Comics character is in development at The CW.

The Hollywood Reporter has it that the new series is described as:

Hourman centers on a brilliant-yet-troubled pharmaceutical analyst who discovers that the visions that have plagued him since childhood are actually glimpses of tragic events occurring one hour in the future. Determined to win back his ex-wife and son, he heroically prevents these tragedies from unfolding, finding both purpose and redemption along the way.

Michael Caleo of The Sopranos will write the script, with Dan Lin and Jennifer Gwartz onboard as producers.

In the comics, Hourman created a drug that gave him superpowers for an hour and was also a founding member of the Justice Society of America.

This marks the fourth fifth DC Comics comic book series as a Commission Gordon Gotham series is in development at Fox and Constantine at NBC (the Wonder Woman "Amazon" series looks to be on a permanent hold).
