DC Comics Announces Mad Max Motion Comic (Video Preview)

Body

In conjunction with the release of the new Mad Max video game, DC Comics has announced a new motion comic to go along with it.

Tom Taylor (Injustice: Gods Among UsEarth 2) and artist Jason Shawn Alexander (Legends of the Dark Knight) are bringing the back story to life in the Mad Max motion comic that explains the first meeting between Chumbucket and Mad Max.

"It's the same gritty version, if not more extreme in his actions," Alexander told USA Today. "So many characters and stories like this can be watered down and over stylized when they make a 'return.' This is the Mad Max that fans love."

DC also released the following preview of the Mad Max motion comic. Later next year, Tom Hardy will also star in a new feature film, Mad Max: Fury Road.
