Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (2014): First Image Hints At War

Body

A new image has surfaced for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, the sequel to the popular Rupert Wyatt directed 2011 Rise of the Planet of the Apes movie.

While Wyatt is not on the movie, Matt Reeves of Cloverfield fame has taken over, the below image seems to suggest previous plot elements that were hinted at before, in that a war takes place between the Apes and humans.

In addition, the included caption seems to suggest more of the same: "Evolution Becomes Revolution."

The image is said to come from the Apes Facebook, but it seems to be taken down.

This one comes from The Collider.

Update: The reason the image may have been taken down is that it's from a collection of photographs from Albert Watson, with the below being "monkey with a gun."

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes has a May 23, 2014 release date with Andy Serkis set to reprise as Caesar.
