Director David Slade is at the helm of the new Daredevil movie, but it seems the movie is "steady as she goes" — albeit barely.

David Slade recently updated his Twitter in regards to the Daredevil movie, with mention that he is concentrating on the upcoming TV series, "Hannibal," and that they will eventually get to Daredevil soon.

And it has to be sooner rather than later because if David Slade doesn't begin production this year on the Daredevil movie, the rights would revert from 20th Century Fox back to Disney and Marvel Studios.

Back in October, David Slade was also announced to be directing Ed Brubaker's Coward. Brubaker has written Daredevil in the past for Marvel Comics.

"Hannibal" is to air on NBC with 13 episodes ordered, from David Slade, who also directed Twilight: Eclipse and 30 Days of Night
