The Dark Knight Rises' Christopher Nolan Up For New 'Twilight Zone' Movie
Variety notes that Nolan is the current front-runner, but sources state the director may be hesitant to take it on as it appears to be similar in respects to Inception. Just how similar is currently unknown as the plot is being kept under wraps.
What is known, is that while the 1983 TZ movie was split into four separate stories, the new version will be a single storyline that touches upon themes from the original Rod Sterling TV series.
In addition to Nolan, Michael Bay is on the list who is said to be interested, as well as Alfonso Cuaron (Gravity) and Rise of the Apes director Rupert Wyatt.
Leonardo DiCaprio is said to be on as producer with Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Michael Ireland.
