The Dark Knight Rises (2012): Hardy Talks Differences Between Bane and Joker
We are almost three months out from the premiere of The Dark Knight Rises. How formidable of a foe will Tom Hardy as Bane be to Batman, compared to the Joker in the previous film, The Dark Knight?
From the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly Hardy comments on just that, the differences between Bane and the Joker.
The Joker didn’t care. He just wanted to see the world burn, and he was a master of chaos and destruction, unscrupulous and crazy. Bane is not that guy. There is a very meticulous and calculated way about Bane. There is a huge orchestration of organization to his ambition. He is also a physical threat to Batman. There is nothing vague about Bane. No jokes. He’s a very clean, clear villain.
The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th, 2012 and is directed by Christopher Nolan starring Christian Bale as Batman, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle/Catwoman, Gary Oldman as Commissioner Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, Michael Cain as Alfred, Juno Temple and Josh Pence as a young Ra's al Ghul.
