The Dark Knight Rises (2012): “The Fire Rises” Browser Game Announced

Body

2032 On Tuesday, June 19th, a new The Dark Knight Rises browser-based real-time strategy game will be launched by Warner Bros. called "The Fire Rises."

Info comes via the TDKR FB with: Join Bane's mercenary forces in THE FIRE RISES, a real-time strategy game where you can lead Gotham City’s underworld characters in a powerful uprising. More levels will be unlocked leading up to the release of The Dark Knight Rises.

In addition, they send you over to Wikia where we learn:

The Fire Rises casts players as henchmen, out to get their own piece of Gotham’s pie. With lackeys of their own, players secure territory, spawn various crew members to take out a relentless stream of deadly security officers, and loot valuable gear from nearby buildings, all before Gotham PD shows up in full force and puts an end to your crime spree.
