Dan Jurgens On SYFY's Booster Gold

Body

dsyfy booster goldDan Jurgens, the DC Comics creator of Booster Gold, offers his thoughts on the recently announced plans to bring the world's greatest super hero from the future to SYFY.

"I'm thrilled that Booster is on the verge of making the leap to television," Jurgens told Comic Book Movie. "It's a great concept for TV as the character himself would be very interested in getting on TV. You could build a lot of layers into it that would make for great fun."

Jurgens created the time traveling glory seeking hero from the future in 1986. Since then, Booster has appeared in many DC Comics and can currently be found in the pages of Justice League International, also written by Jurgens. Fans of Smallville will certainly recognize the name, as Booster Gold appeared in the final season.

With SYFY ordering a pilot script for a one hour TV series, you can bet Booster's ego will only be bolstered by the number of additional fans!
