CW Planning Green Arrow TV Series By Green Lantern Movie Scribes

Body

367 EW reports that the CW is planning a Green Arrow TV series and that a pilot order is near.

While not much information is given, and it is not stated whether or not it is a spinoff from Smallville, EW does state that Justin Hartley, who played the Smallville GA, is not involved.

The series is being put together by Greg Berlanti and Marc Guggenheim, both of whom worked on the Green Lantern movie, and are said to be the show's Executive Producers and writers. In addition, Andrew Kreisberg of The Vampire Diaries, Eli Stone, and the DC Comics Black Canary/Green Arrow comic book is onboard as well.

Green Arrow also joins plans for Booster Gold, Deadman and Spectre TV series from Warner Bros.
