CW Not Happy With Wonder Woman Amazon Script; Still Hoping For Fall Debut

Body

5300 This looks to be strike two for Wonder Woman as we learn the new series that was in development at the CW, Amazon, might be in trouble.

THR is reporting that the CW isn't happy with Allan Heinberg's script on Amazon, which centers on a teenage Diana as she first encounters the world of man.

Previously, it came out that test scenes with actresses involved were said to be eating ice cream in what was described as "a very cute scene."

However, it's stated that the CW is still hopeful for Amazon as they are keeping a slot open for this Fall and are awaiting for a final script version from Heinberg.

NBC passed on a Wonder Woman show of their own with Adrianne Palicki as the lead.

Most recently, Thor 2's Jaimie Alexander said she was embarrassed by Wonder Woman, even mentioning that ice cream scene as well.

Perhaps the CW should take Alexander's advice as she says Wonder Woman should be more like the Bourne Identity.
