Good news for fans of the new Constantine series on NBC as last night's episode, which featured Jim Corrigan and The Spectre, jumped 38% in the ratings.

The episode saw a good lead in from Grimm and managed to be the series second highest rated episode since its premiere.

The episode, "Danse Vaudou," netted 3.5 million viewers overall, but perhaps more importantly saw a large bump in the key 18-49 demographics (which advertisers love) by going from a 0.8 rating for the previous episode to a 1.1 rating for this episode.

NBC released numbers stating Constantine retained a whopping 85% of its 18-49 lead in from Grimm, which again, is its top retention since the premiere.

It's also expected the numbers for Constantine will increase once DVR viewings are factored in.

Hopefully the jump in the ratings means good news for a potential spinoff for Corrigan and The Spectre.
