Comic-Con 2013: David Goyer To Direct Episode Of The Walking Dead

Earlier today at Comic-Con it was announced that David Goyer will be directing an upcoming episode of The Walking Dead.

Goyer, known for writing The Dark Knight Trilogy Batman movies as well as Man of Steel, is no stranger to the world of directing or television as he just finished the first season of his popular Starz series Da Vinci's Demons.

No other information was said with the announcement, but Goyer probably will be on board for an episode in Season 4.

An interesting aspect of this season of The Walking Dead is that new showrunner Scott Gimple is a big fan of comic books and David Goyer is as well so perhaps we'll get a close adaptation of one of the comic storylines.

The Walking Dead panel at Comic-Con also kicks off in about a half-an-hour where the Season 4 trailer will debut. Maybe we'll find out more about David Goyer directing The Walking Dead as well.
