We can add another name to the list as, in addition to the rumor of Matthew Vaughn, Colin Trevorrow is rumored to be on the list to direct Star Wars Episode VII set for 2015.

The indie filmmaker is known for his sci-fi movie Safety Not Guaranteed, which reportedly Star Wars creator George Lucas took a liking to.

Celebuzz states that Colin Trevorrow met with George Lucas to discuss the new Star Wars project.

While no details about Colin Trevorrow's meeting are known, it's stated that he is on the list of potential candidates to direct the next Star Wars.

In addition to this rumor, we've heard quite a few more, including the original cast will be featured, more director choices, and that a female protagonist will eventually end up taking the lead in the new Star Wars movies named "Skywalker."
