Assuming Guardians of the Galaxy is going to be a success, it sounds as if we will be seeing a lot more of Chris Pratt in the Marvel Studios movie universe.

Pratt told Screen Rant that he is signed on for seven to eight Marvel movies. Actually, Pratt jokes seven or eight thousand.

I don’t know exactly it’s either seven or eight thousand, it’s between seven and eight, I don’t know exactly, but I hope we get them all done.

Mention has been previously made that if Guardians is a success, James Gunn will direct a sequel, and Gunn recently stated he can see the Guardians of the Galaxy meeting up with the Avengers down the road.

"I think that there's certainly a decent chance that in the near future some of the Guardians or some of the Avengers, or the Guardians and the Avengers, or some sort of permutation of that, they'll meet at some point in time," Gunn told Digital Spy. "I've been thinking about a sequel from the beginning," Gunn continued. "When I was setting up Guardians, I wanted it to be a movie that worked by itself, but also helped set up a whole galaxy of characters that we could play with in different ways. I have tons of ideas of things we can do, but we'll just have to see how things go."

"Guardians of the Galaxy" has an August 1, 2014 release.
