Chris Evans Confirms Falcon In Captain America 2

3036 Captain America 2, "The Winter Soldier," will not only see the return of Sebastian Stan as James "Bucky" Barnes, but also a new hero in the form of the Falcon.

Anthony Mackie was said to play Sam Wilson, Falcon, Captain America's super hero best buddy with wings, and at the recent Toronto Film Festival Chris Evans briefly mentions that, confirming while speaking to MTV.

"He's so great," Evans said to MTV News. "I've known Mackie for a few years now. I'm really happy we got him. We got lucky."

Regarding the title for the movie, "The Winter Soldier," which is based on comic book scribe Ed Brubaker's run, Chris Evans said that it was in the planning stages even before The Avengers movie.

3037 "Even during the first 'Captain America,' well before 'The Avengers,' there were whispers of ['Winter Soldier'] being the sequel. So I'm excited to tackle that," Evans said.

Evans goes on to credit Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige for being such a comic book fan as to the success of the movies.

"The best thing about [Marvel Studios president] Kevin Feige is he's a fan. He's not just a businessman, he's a rabid comic book fan," he said.
