Chris Evans Confirmed As Captain America For The Avengers 2

9969 You might recall the talk of dissent amongst The Avengers actors as it was reported there was contention between the Assemblers and Disney/Marvel Studios over pay.

It was said to even have gone so far as having Robert Downey Jr. backing his fellow cast mates against Disney.

After that it was reported the hard feelings were smoothed over, and now that seems the case as a third returning actor is seemingly confirmed for The Avengers 2, "Age Of Ultron," with Chris Evans.

Josh Whedon made previous mention that Black Widow would be featured heavily in The Avengers 2, so from that we have to take that Scarlett Johansson will return.

Whedon also said he has been having fun writing Hawkeye, meaning Jeremy Renner seems likely to reprise.

The latest regarding Chris Evans comes out of an article from Deadline stating Evans will be directing a new movie, 1:30 Train, completing production before he picks up his shield to play Captain America in The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

Actually, the news might also come with a spoiler as some thought Cap might die in Captain America 2 with the Winter Soldier taking on the mantle, as seen in the recent Marvel comic books.

The Avengers 2 assembles May 1, 2015 with Iron Man 3 on May 3, 2013, Thor: The Dark World on November 8, 2013, Captain America: Winter Soldier on April 4, 2014, the Guardians of the Galaxy movie on August 1, 2014 and Ant-Man on November 6, 2015..
