Carrie Fisher Getting Replaced In Star Wars? Princess Leia Rumored Up For Grabs
A pair of new rumors has hit the net surrounding Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the Star Wars movies.
The first rumor is from Den of Geek, which states auditions are ongoing for Star Wars: Episode VII, and that apparently Princess Leia is up for grabs. Their report notes that one or two people are being told that the role they are auditioning for is for Princess Leia.
While the report goes on to speculate it could be for a flashback scene for a younger version of Princess Leia (they don't mentioned the actresses as being young), possibly the next rumor may shed some light on what's going on.
It's no secret that Carrie Fisher has been battling a drug addiction problem for many years. Reportedly, she has been clean, but most recently the actress was seen visiting a "downtrodden Hollywood apartment" for a week taking part in "30-second visits with a mystery woman" by the NY Post.
There is video surveillance of Carrie Fisher meeting with one or two women in a car and then behaving "bizarrely as she made a beeline back home."
It's said Carrie Fisher was seen "acting erratically — either violently bobbing her head up and down, clenching her fists or frantically wiping her nose in the rearview mirror."
After the seventh time visiting the house, a reporter confronted Fisher who denied the drug allegations.
"No, darling," she replied. "I've been coming here for years."
It's further said that Carrie Fisher shrugged off the reporter and said it's a friend's house.
The report did note that Fisher previously told the Calgary Sun that Disney was sending trainers to her home on a daily basis for Star Wars.
"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release.
