It's learned that Carrie Fisher has been hard at work getting ready to reprise as Princess Leia for J.J. Abrams, Disney and Star Wars: Episode VII.

Carrie Fisher's mother, Debbie Reynolds, recently appeared on Extra stating that Fisher is presently in London and excited about the movie.

"So she said, 'mother, I've been asked, we are going to do a Star Wars,'" Reynolds told Extra. "She and Harrison and everybody. The original cast. They're in London now. And she is very excited about it. She's been on a diet ever since because, you know, you have to be up to par. So she looks terrific. She has lost 40 pounds. She is very excited. As we all are because we all love Star Wars."

Mark Hamill has been reportedly training hard as well as a recent image of the actor showed off his weight loss.

It's been said that both Fisher and Hamill will have strong supporting roles in Star Wars: Episode VII.

"Star Wars: Episode VII" has a December 18, 2015 release.
