Do we have our first confirmation for the new Star Wars movie that it's Carrie Fisher returning as Princess Leia?

We know previous to the Star Wars acquisition George Lucas had contacted Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher about new Star Wars movies.

Carrie Fisher was also recently asked about Star Wars, where she said she would like to return.

It's also been confirmed that the new movie will feature the original characters.

However, has Fisher already been signed?

At a recent book signing, Fisher whispered to a fan when asked if she was returning, "Yes....I thought it was already common knowledge."

TheForce.net says Fisher didn't elaborate or offer any other details; however, the site was contacted by a rep who said that Fisher had said it "tongue-in-cheek."

Did she?

Or did Fisher let it slip?

Regardless, it does seem likely that Carrie Fisher as Princess Leia will return in Star Wars Episode VII which has a 2015 release date.
