Seems Joe Johnston may not be coming back to helm the sequel to Captain America: First Avenger.

Not sure if we already knew that, but I'm glad if that is indeed the case.

I thought the Cap movie was pretty bad, to be honest, right down there with Green Lantern.

Vulture is reporting that three directors have been narrowed to to direct the sequel, from a list of ten.

George Nolfi, the writer-director of The Adjustment Bureau; F. Gary Gray, best known for directing The Italian Job; and, naturally -- Community's Anthony and Joseph Russo.

Vulture also says the Russo brothers hit it off with Marvel Studios President and Producer Kevin Feige.

The Captain America: First Avenger sequel is slated for a 2014 release.
