Bryan Singer To Develop Twilight Zone TV Series

4784 X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer looks to be bringing back Twilight Zone to primetime TV.

Deadline has is that Singer has closed a deal to develop, executive produce and possibly direct a reboot of the Rod Serling classic.

The new Twilight Zone will be shown on CBS, which owns the rights, with the studio currently looking for a writer.

The original ran for five seasons, from 1959-1964, with a movie from Stephen Spielberg and John Landis in 1983.

The new TV show is in addition to the new Twilight Zone movie, which is in development at Warner Bros. The latest regarding that is its currently looking for a director, but said to be about light speed and time travel.

Bryan's Singer X-Men: Days of Future Past has a July 18, 2014 release as well.
