For those worrying too many characters are in X-Men: Days Of Future Past, you have one less to worry about as Bryan Singer lets it be known that he cut a scene featuring Anna Paquin as Rogue.

It also happens to be Anna Paquin's only scene in the movie, so that means she is out of X-Men: Days Of Future Past.

"Through the editing process, the sequence became extraneous,” Singer told EW.com. “It’s a really good sequence and it will probably end up on the DVD so people can see it. But like many things in the editing process, it was an embarrassment of riches and it was just one of the things that had to go. Unfortunately, it was the one and only sequence Anna Paquin was in, the Rogue character was in. Even though she’s in the materials and part of the process of making the film, she won’t appear in it.”

X-Men: Days Of Future Past has a May 23, 2014 release date directed by Byran Singer starring Jennifer Lawrence, James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Nicholas Hoult, Ellen Page, Shawn Ashmore, Lucas Till, Hugh Jackman reprising as Wolverine, returning cast members Patrick Stewart and Ian McKellan, with Peter Dinklage as Bolivar Trask.
