We are only one episode into Season 4 of The Walking Dead and already Norman Reedus is stating it's going to be the best season yet.

The premiere for Season 4 of The Walking Dead drew record numbers with over 16 million viewers, which gave the show its best audience ever.

Now, Norman Reedus tells EW the writing for season 4 is just phenomenal and more.

"We went large with the first one. This season is crazy," Reedus said. "It’s by far our best season, and the writing is just phenomenal."

Andrew Lincoln also offered an interesting tidbit about the season.

"Something terrible happens within this story arc that divides the group irrevocably," Lincoln said.
