Ben Affleck Hitting The Gym Hard For Batman With 2-Hour Workouts

Last night Warner Bros. announced Ben Affleck as the new Batman.

Affleck will star alongside Henry Cavill in the sequel to Man of Steel that has a July 17, 2015 release date.

It's safe to say that the internet exploded with the news of Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader.

CBN's own Lawrence Napoli offered his thoughts in a heated op-ed, and EIC Matt McGloin was part of a live call-in show about the news.

Mentioned during the call-in was the fact that Affleck was older and not necessarily in the best Batman shape.

Now it's learned that Ben Affleck has been hitting the gym hard.

US Magazine reports that Ben Affleck has already begun training for Batman and has been working out two hours per day to get in shape.

It's said Affleck has been working hard to get buff for the role transforming his physique in the process.

Prior to Man of Steel, Henry Cavill packed on an estimated 40 lbs. working out two hours per day as well.

The news of Ben Affleck participating in two-hour work outs certainly should squash any mention the actor is not taking the role seriously.
