Batman vs. Superman Ticket Sales Outpacing Deadpool, Avengers and Fast & Furious
Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman are not only set to kick each other's butts, but by the looks of advanced ticket sales, the DC Trinity are going to take down Deadpool, Avengers and Fast & Furious.
Deadline reports the advanced ticket sales for Batman Vs. Superman are out performing Fox’s Deadpool (opening weekend $132.4M), Marvel's The Avengers ($207.4M opening weekend) and Universal’s Furious 7 ($147.1M opening weekend) two weeks prior to its U.S. debut.
It's further said the advanced ticket sales figure is somewhere between $20-25 million, which is similar to The Dark Knight Rises ($25 million) that went on to have a $160.9 million opening.
As it stands, it's estimated Batman Vs. Superman could open from around $140 to $160 million.
The current record-holder for advanced tickets is held by Star Wars: The Force Awakens with $50 million.
