Though it's reported Batman Vs. Superman may have begun filming in Metamora, Michigan, that now seems unlikely as Jeremy Irons, set to play Alfred, lets it be known the script for the movie still has yet to be finished.

The news of the unfinished script also lends credence to the speculation that Batman Vs. Superman was delayed not because of the actors involved (i.e. Jesse Eisenberg participating in smaller roles for other movies), but because of a story change which sees Affleck's Argo writer, Chris Terrio, coming on board replacing David Goyer, who is now listed as executive producer.

It's also speculated that Terrio has been brought on board to make Batman Vs. Superman have more of a connection to the Justice League.

"I don't know how my Alfred is going to be," Irons said. "I can't wait to see. We haven't started work yet. I'm going to be very interested to see. The script isn't entirely finished. So it will be as much a surprise to you as me, probably. I've read a script. I think it's not finalized."

"Batman Vs Superman" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane and Jeremy Irons.
