Batman Vs. Superman Filming Huge Military Scene; Emily Blunt Rumored As Catwoman
It's being said that Zack Snyder will be filming a huge military scene for Batman Vs. Superman.
Apparently about 8,500 extras are being called up for the scene, which is said to take place in the Detroit area later this month (via Cinema Blend).
It's said extras with military backgrounds are needed for June 11th with filming to commence all day and night.
No details are known about the scene, but if it really does use that many extras, we can probably expect some set cool set images and video.
Fans will recall the military was a heavy presence in Man of Steel with Christopher Meloni as Colonel Nathan Hardy and Harry Lennix as General Swanwick. Lennix's character survived, but he hasn't been confirmed for Batman Vs. Superman.
Regarding the Emily Blunt rumor, a couple of days ago it was said that Emily Blunt has an unknown role in Batman Vs. Superman.
Now it's being either rumored or speculated that Emily Blunt might be playing Catwoman.
Blunt can be seen alongside Tom Cruise this weekend for Edge of Tomorrow.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has a newly announced May 6, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film.
