Batman Arkham Origins Rumored To Be Next Video Game Title; Set in 50s With Justice League

Body

6426 Back in February, Warner Bros. let it be known that a third Batman Arkham video game will be coming out some time this year.

WB Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer John K. Martin stated, "We also have a strong games release this year, which will include the next release in the Batman Arkham franchise. So all in all, we expect Warners to post another very strong year in 2013."

It now appears we have the name of the title for the game and it's "Batman Arkham Origins."

The name fits with what has been previously described with the next Batman Arkham game being a prequel.

A French website, Gameblog.fr, states "Batman Arkham Origins" will be inspired by the Silver Age of comics, and as heard previously, will feature the Justice League, with Superman, Green Lantern, and more.

They state a source filmed them in that "Batman Arkham Origins" will debut at the upcoming E3, will be set around the 50s or 60s, and the game will be available on the PS4 and next-gen consoles.

It's stated it is unknown if "Batman Arkham Origins" will be available on current consoles.

Previously, a list of domain names revealed that "Batman Arkham Origins" was listed among them.
