Avengers Vs. X-Men Movie? Producer Lauren Shuler Donner Would Love It!

Marvel Comics recently concluded its mega blockbuster event, Avengers Vs. X-Men, which saw huge sales and all kinds of hype associated with it.

So could that ever cross over to the big screen?

While Disney owns the movie rights to The Avengers, Fox does own the rights to X-Men, so there would need to be A LOT of red tape removed.

However, X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner stated she's game.

"I would love it. I would love it. I personally have close ties to Marvel because of Kevin Feige, because Kevin worked for me. But to take our characters and mingle them in the way that they were written, yeah, absolutely," Donner tells CraveOnline.

Now, a cross-over between the two may not be that far-fetched, as reportedly, Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers movie were going to mingle with Oscorp Tower to appear in both. In addition, Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige was executive producer on the Sony-produced Amazing Spider-Man movie, and there has even been talk about a Spidey appearance in The Avengers 2.

Basically what it will boil down to is money, in addition to how each studio's characters are represented.

So most likely it would feature a short battle in the beginning with the two teams teaming up, I would guess.
