Avengers Assemble #8 Cover Features Thanos With Cosmic Cube

Body

The solicit and cover for Avengers Assemble #8 has been released and we see the cover has the Mad Titan Thanos holding a cosmic cube.

From the solicit we also see the Guardians of the Galaxy are also appearing in Avengers Assemble yet again.

It's thought that a new Brian Michael Bendis scribed Guardians of the Galaxy series will be spinning out of this.

Regarding the Cosmic Cube, we know that during DnA's critically acclaimed and top HC seller, The Thanos Imperative, Star-Lord used a cosmic cube to trap himself, Nova (Richard Rider) and Thanos in another universe to stop the Mad Titan from causing havoc in the Marvel 616 U.

It's unknown whether or not Bendis or Marvel will touch upon the events of The Thanos Imperative - as we see Star-Lord and Thanos are back - or if they will just ignore it completely.

In related news, former Marvel Cosmic fan-fav artist Brad Walker will be doing art chores on October's Avenging Spider-Man Annual with Rob Williams on as writer.
