The Avengers 2 Music Score To Be Inspired By Star Wars & Superman

It's not the first time Star Wars has been associated with The Avengers 2, but it's a first for Superman.

Composer Brian Tyler let it be known that that the music score for The Avengers: Age Of Ultron will be inspired by both Star Wars and Superman as well as Raiders of the Lost Ark.

"[Those films] changed the game," the composer said during the Musical Anatomy of a Superhero panel at Comic-Con, reports Variety. “It’s the template for The Avengers coming up."

Tyler also said The Avengers 2 score will try to reference the previous Marvel Iron Man, Thor and Captain America films.

"That’s the goal for sure,” Tyler said, who also scored Thor 2 and Guardians of the Galaxy. “You have to build in nostalgia and do it upfront so you can relate to it."

Brian Tyler is also scoring the new Paramount Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film and said it will have a new score that does incorporate elements of the animated series.

"The Avengers: Age Of Ultron" hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver, Paul Bettany as Vision, with James Spader as Ultron.
