Arrow Gets A Slight Bump In Ratings With "Suicide Squad"

Body

Last night's episode of Arrow, which featured the Suicide Squad, saw a slight bump in ratings, but still managed to be the series' second worst rated episode this season.

"Suicide Squad" drew 2.36 million viewers with a .8 in the coveted 18-49 ratings demographic (final numbers could be adjusted up or down).

The viewer numbers are up about 12% from the previous episode which saw the worst ratings ever for Arrow.

Exactly why ratings are so low is up for debate.

There's been some online speculation that networks airing the episodes with large gaps has been a factor.

While shows like The Walking Dead have a consistent 8 weeks of episodes followed by a break, and then the remaining episodes air every week, Arrow and Marvel's Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D. have gaps between the episodes ranging from a couple weeks to even a month.
